clint,
“Whale jails” are just what they sounds like — and right now, 100 whales are being held in tiny, cramped enclosures off the Russian coast. They are probably illegal and definitely inhumane.
Please sign the petition to put pressure on authorities to investigate and shut down these whale jails!
According to reports, four different companies own the pens holding 11 orcas and 90 beluga whales. These companies are imprisoning the wild whales supposedly for educational purposes, but have been caught selling whales illegally to China in the past. Many fear that these whales are doomed to the same fate and will end up in water parks and aquariums.
Trapping dozens of whales in tiny pens and then selling them off to aquariums where they will lead lives of misery is absolute abuse. Those responsible must be held accountable.
Whales deserve to be free and wild. Sign now to urge authorities to get to the bottom of this and save these whales.
Thank you,

P.S. Housing whales in small enclosures is never OK. Please sign this petition to demand that these whales be freed.
