Animals like Double Trouble desperately need your help!

Like all cats, Double Trouble deserved a life of care and affection. But instead, she endured many, many months of terrible misery.

Experimenters implanted metal coils in her eyes and screwed a bolt into the top of her head. She then developed infections at the surgery sites, and her face became partially paralysed. When she became too ill to continue and the experiment failed, she was killed.

The experimenters repeatedly tormented Double Trouble … kept her caged and suffering … and then decapitated her corpse to dissect her brain – out of curiosity.

Right now, countless animals like Double Trouble are suffering in cruel experiments in the UK and around the world. But there’s something you can do to help them.

By making a generous gift to PETA today, you can do twice as much to stop cruel experiments on cats and other animals who are suffering in laboratory cages. Every gift made by our 31 October deadline will bedoubled, up to our £250,000 goal!

Horrors like those that Double Trouble faced aren’t limited to one laboratory. As you read this e-mail, terrified cats, dogs, monkeys, and other animals are being abused and killed in laboratories around the globe. They cower in fear, enduring the pain of invasive surgeries, implants, infections, and worse – and they will pay with their lives for the rotten “science” behind these rotten tests.

Thanks to attention-grabbing campaigns by PETA and our international affiliates, millions of people have learned about the cruelty that animals experience in laboratories and have joined the calls to end the abuse. The movement to stop deadly experiments on animals is growing, and we need your help to make it stronger than ever!

Donate to PETA’s Animal Test Challenge and help us stop the suffering of animals like Double Trouble. Remember, your gift today will be MATCHED pound for pound to have twice the impact – so please give as generously as you can.

Thank you for your compassion.

Kind regards,
