Dear clint,
Because of generous animal lovers from around the world, we are on the ground right now permanently shutting down a dog meat farm in South Korea and rescuing all of the dogs who were suffering there.
More than 50 lives are now safe from misery and cruelty, a new beginning unfolding right before their eyes.
The dog meat farmer has signed a contract to relinquish all of the dogs to Humane Society International and transition to a humane livelihood of growing water parsley. No dog will ever suffer on this farm again.
Soon, the rescued dogs will be on their way to our emergency shelter in Canada to receive necessary medical attention, haircuts, baths, a safe place to sleep every night, fresh food and water every day, and lots of love and care. Then, these dogs will get a chance at finding loving, forever homes.
This kind of happy ending truly never gets old. Thank you so much for supporting this important work.
Sincerely,

Kelly O’Meara
Vice President, Companion Animals & Engagement
