I’m facing multiple felonies for rescuing a sick turkey from a Utah farm, but now, that same farm is helping DxE place 100 turkeys in animal sanctuaries in the days before Thanksgiving. Our investigation of the farm last year exposed conditions that the company’s own CEO called “disturbing,” and the farm’s owner has told us he doesn’t support the charges we’re facing. Our nonviolent direct action has started a radically different conversation about animals this holiday season — and created the opportunity to save 100 lives!
Actor James Cromwell and hundreds of other activists are converging in Utah in one week for the Animal Liberation Western Convergence — but we need your help to reach as many people as possible when we transform the national narrative this Thanksgiving.
Or you can join us in person — it isn’t too late to register for the Animal Liberation Western Convergence. And the next 20 people to register will get a free copy of PETA President Ingrid Newkirk’s book, Free the Animals. Get your free copy by being one of the next 20 registrants! With power in numbers, we can transform the national dialogue around Thanksgiving, and plant a seed of compassion that will spread to farms and slaughterhouses around the world. We can create a world where no animal is harmed or killed in the making of our food. Maybe this Thanksgiving will be the first step.
